BACHELOR OF HOTEL MANAGEMENT: The Hospitality Industry is growing at an increasing pace and contributes a significant amount to the economy of World and India. The tourism industry has tremendous capacity to generate both direct, indirect and induced employment. Since it is a highly labour intensive industry and many jobs involved low-skilled work,It is beneficial to the vulnerable and unemployed sectors of the local community as formal education and prior work experience is not necessary. Jobs created through tourism are spread across many sectors of the economy such as hospitality sector, transport sector, retail sector, manufacturing sector, travel and tourism operation etc.This dynamism is going to be on the rise for years to come and that is why students are viewing this industry as a golden opportunity for their carrier . A degree in hotel management will be able to provide you with lucrative career opportunities for a long time to come.There is a lot of demand for professionals who are well qualified and thus suit for this particular field.

This Bachelor degree in Hotel Management is spread over 3 years, which gives an opportunity to the students to get full fledged knowledge through classroom training as well as from paid internships from the local reputed hotels..

  • Duration: The duration of this programme is three years spread over six semesters.
  • Certification: On successful completion of all the semesters, the students will be awarded with the BSC(H&HA) degree from KRISHNA University of the Country which is located in Andhra Pradesh at Machalipatnam
  • Eligibility: 10+2 or equivalent.
  • Fee Schedule:Fees has to be paid in two instalment’s.
  • 1st term- At the time of admission.
  • 2nd term- On are before 1st December.

Eligibility for BSC (H&HA) (Bachelor Of Science in Hotel and Hospitality Administration)

Student must have passed Std XII (10+2) or equivalent examination in any stream from any recognized board with 45% marks (40% for reserved category).

English must be one of the subjects in Std. XII (10+2) or equivalent examination.

Students appearing for Std XII (10+2) board exams in the current year i.e. March 2015 are also eligible subject to successfully qualifying the board exams.

The Degree level curriculum aims at providing an understanding of the Knowledge and Skill development, decision making and leadership aspects of the International hotel Industry. In addition it is also designed to develop independent research and study skills which will be required when working at senior managerial level in the Industry.

Every module is scientifically designed and divided through assignments, projects and Industrial visits. The blended learning curriculum is spread over 6 semesters with Industrial exposure in the 4th  and the 6th semester. Students get an advantage of getting placed during their 2nd training (6th semester). This enables a student to complete his on campus learning in 2.5 years and pursue his/her dream career.

 

Eligibility for D.H.M, (Diploma in Hotel Management)

Student must have passed Std X (10th) or equivalent examination in any stream from any recognized board.

The Diploma level curriculum is designed by experts of the JNNYC and involves 6 months of fast track intensive skill development, to meet the skill requirements of the Indistry.

The learning cycle is complete through a blend of Core Industry based modules with, English Language, Personality Development programs, Food Production, Food and Beverage Service, Housekeeping, Front office and Environmental science

 

Eligibility for M.D.H.M, (Master Diploma in Hotel Management)

Student must have passed Std X (10th) or Inter pass or fail equivalent examination in any stream from any recognized board.

The Diploma level curriculum is designed by experts of the JNNYC and involves 16 months of fast track intensive skill development, to meet the skill requirements of the Indistry.

The learning cycle is complete through a blend of Core Industry based modules with, English Language, Personality Development programs, Communication skills, Food Production, Food and Beverage Service, Housekeeping, Front office and Environmental science.
